Tj klune how to be a normal person5/26/2023 ![]() ![]() The prices of the books are set they way they are because it's the only way I'll see a meaningful profit. Hey! All the books I have listed are self-published, given that I had to take the rights back from the former publisher who unfortunately mismanaged the royalties, leaving hundreds of us without payment for our hard work. I am taking it one day at a time, so I won't make any promises, but I can say that I've at least started! We'll see how it goes. So much so that last week, I started writing Verania book five! I'm a little rusty, but over the last week, I've written about 25K words of Justin's story. What people need to understand (and this isn't me admonishing you-always ask questions, it's how you'll know!) is how creatively stifling all of this has been. I have received the rights back to my books and republished them, but I'm still owed tens of thousands of dollars from Dreamspinner, and there is no relief in sight. ![]() ![]() Hundreds of authors, editors, cover artists, translators are still owed an untold amount of money. No, the problems have not been straightened out. ![]()
